I Enjoy a "challenge"......So I am always open to any "Creative Idea" YOU may have for a doll !!! If you have a friend or loved one who is in GIRL SCOUTS.....BOY SCOUTS.......CHEERLEADER......KARATE......LITTLE LEAGUE......TEE-BALL......In some cases I can use their "actual" uniform and make it into a " KEEPSAKE " Doll that they will cherish for years to come! So if you have a friend or loved one that is crazy about NFL........NBA......MLB....COWBOYS.......COWGIRLS....CLOWNS.....or WHATEVER!!!!!....I have an IDEA for YOUR SPECIAL DOLL.............JUST WAITING TO BE CREATED...........it is just an email away.........There are so many delightful and colorful characters to choose from.....Check back often, because I will be adding any new "Special Order" requests that I receive!!! When my long-time customer requested that I create a Boy Scout Andy for his son, I immediately pictured the dark blue uniform with gold scarf and trim that I remembered my brother wearing.
He explained that his son's troop wore a tan colored uniform with lime green scarf.
WHOA !!! Things had changed with the Boy Scouts!
So I went online to see what I could find.
I started thinking about all of the details I could add to the uniform....to personalize it for his 12 year old son.
A keepsake he would cherish and want to share with his children some day.
As I got further into the project,
I saw the sash with the little emblems for each different challenge the individual scout has accomplished.
He told me the accomplishments, but was unable to send pictures of each one, so I looked online and found a resource for them.

I was able to duplicate and downsize them to make an exact duplicate of his son's uniform.
I made his cap with the Boy Scout emblem, and added Boy Scouts of America on his cap and above his pocket, his troop number on his sleeve
.....just like the real thing!
And then I found the crowning touch!
The Boy Scout Creed
Using small print, I typed this out and hung it on a little hang-tag on his doll.
I really got excited about this project
...thinking too...
of all the "unique" dolls that could be made for other children who belong to clubs
or grown-ups, that have a unique uniform for their line of work.
What a keepsake treasure these dolls could be!
