Updated August 2011 Not So RaggedyAcresTM by Gayle Garbarino ~ Heirloom Quality Collectible Treasures ~ ~ Designed and Created by Doll Artist -Gayle Garbarino ~ ~ ~ My Favorite Raggedy ~ ~ ~ Some of Courtney's Accomplishments ~ My "FAVORITE RAGGEDY" is my granddaughter Courtney......she was my original inspiration to begin creating these wonderful characters........Straight from the Fairyland created by Johnny Gruelle in his delightful Raggedy Ann stories. I created a Raggedy Ann outfit for her when she was five years old................and she made the most DARLING Raggedy Ann ever !!! Then she traveled with my husband and I to the Raggedy Festival in Arcola Illinois in 2004 when she was 9 years old.......and I made matching Raggedy Ann costumes for both of us! I hope you will enjoy my pictures of her first Halloween costume as well............Courney has become quite a seamstress herself, creating her first Raggedy Ann doll at age 7and then creating an "Original Design" Lizzie McGuire doll at age 8, which she entered into the fair and won a FIRST PLACE ribbon.........it was the first time she was old enough to enter! ...... I have included pictures of her "sewing" her first doll............I am very proud of her............hope you enjoy the pictures!! Someday, I hope to pass on my patterns for my Raggedy Characters to her...... for future generations!....WHY NOT COLLECT THEM ALL???...... Have a question?
